So sorry for the delay in messages but between family visiting, holidays and a close friend’s death Savvy Mommas has been a little bit behind.  We are back at it and excited about what all is going on in the new year!  Savvy Mommas is going to be featuring some great places around town and things to do with your friends, family and kiddos, but I am also excited to announce a new and much needed category to the blog…Devo!

After doing a bible study with a group of ladies I have found a dear friend, Jill Johnson, that can speak God’s truth so eliquently.  She is too talented to only share her knowledge and passion for Jesus with her friends and community so I have asked her to help me with my Devo section.  For all of us Diva’s out there looking to be the best at so many things, we sometimes lose sight of what is truly important.  God’s love for us and how much we could be in love with Him.

The Devo section will feature a weekly devotional that Jill and I will dig into a little deeper.  Our prayer is that  these Devo’s will inspire you to be a better person, love God deeper, get to know who He is, and most importantly how to have a daily relationship with Him.  We will feature different topics like how to pray for your kids, what it means to walk with Christ, giving it all to God, balancing family time and time alone with God, and lots of other topics that I know will help all of us to remember that we are loved everyday by our Heavenly Father.
