I was doing some research yesterday to help one of my dear friends who is battling cancer right now. She is on her 2nd round of chemo and just doesn’t have the energy to be cleaning her own home. While we are fortunate to find plenty of friends that will help with the cost of a maid or go and clean the house for her, I was curious to see if there was some kind of service that had discounted maid service for people in need. Sure enough I found the coolest non-profit called Cleaning For A Reason. http://cleaningforareason.org is a wonderful organization that is helping families have one less thing to worry about during a difficult time.
If you or a friend is in need of such a wonderful service you can apply online to see if you qualify for free maid service to come to your home as needed. Also, if you know someone that is in the maid service business that would be interested in participating in the cause by offering their services please have them contact the organization. Lastly, if you are trying to find a great place to donate this holiday season I hope you will consider helping out Cleaning for a Reason to help other families in need of a little help around the house.
