Count Your Pennies…and Quarters!

Thursday, September 29th, 2011

My kids have been saving loose change for years, but who has the time to count the coins?  Stop by Austin County State Bank, and you are welcome to use their coin counting machine.  The kids will enjoy dumping the coins in the machine – they don’t even need to be sorted.  If you are a customer, you can cash out or deposit the money for free.  Non-customers are welcome for a 5% fee of the amount counted.  It’s never too early to start teaching them the lessons of saving, giving and spending!
